Shakespeare4All, Hong Kong based NGO

This design was created in a pair for a Hong Kong based NGO, Shakespeare4All. It was sent to schools and other student related bodies in Hong Kong so the requirement was that the design be playful, yet mature enough to appeal to an older audience too. Since the client preferred a hand drawn style, we created drawings from photographs of their past show, and played around with a layout that did not follow a conventional grid system. We kept the colour of the background in pale shades of blue and red, bright enough to draw attention but not strong to mask the content. This design was well-received by the client.
